2.1 Server and usage data (log files)

When you visit www.unimission.ch, certain data is automatically stored on our servers or on the servers of service providers we use (e.g., hosting, security, and web analysis services). This is done in particular for the purposes of system security, system administration, error analysis, misuse prevention, and—if activated and permitted by you—to analyze and improve our website.

This may include the following information:

  • Name of your Internet service provider
  • IP address (usually)
  • Version of your browser software
  • Operating system of the end device
  • Date and time of access
  • Website/URL from which you visit www.unimission.ch
    (referrer)

    (if submitted)

Depending on the configuration and context, this data may allow conclusions to be drawn about a specific person (e.g., IP address). We do not use this data to directly identify visitors, but we reserve the right to analyze log data in the event of security incidents or misuse.

2.2 Contacting customers and forms (including CRM/marketing)

When you contact us via forms, email, telephone, or other channels, we process the information you provide (e.g., name, company, position, contact details, content of the inquiry) in order to process your inquiry, initiate an offer/contract, and communicate with you.

Depending on the purpose, this data may be stored and further processed in our CRM/marketing system (e.g., appointment scheduling, lead management, documentation of communication).

2.3 Chatbot and storage of transcripts

We use a chatbot (HubSpot) on our website. When you use the chatbot, your entries and technical metadata (e.g., timestamp, page context) are processed. Chat transcripts are stored so that we can track inquiries, provide support, and improve chatbot logic and service quality.

Please do not send passwords, access data, or particularly sensitive personal data (e.g., health data) via the chatbot.

2.4 Support / Ticketing

We use Jira Service Management for support and service processes. In doing so, we process the personal data required for ticket processing (e.g., contact details, ticket content, communication history, attachments if applicable).

2.5 AI-supported functions and automation

We use AI-supported functions in various tools (e.g., in Microsoft 365 Copilot, monitoring/security correlation, marketing assistance functions, chatbot support). This may involve automated evaluations (e.g., classification, prioritization, suggestions).

In connection with this website and the marketing/contact processes, we do not make any exclusively automated individual decisions with legal effect or comparable significant impairment. Should this be the case in exceptional circumstances, we will inform the person concerned in accordance with the revDSG and enable a review by a natural person.

After expiry of the retention period, your request for deletion will be complied with.

5. data security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures (TOMs) to ensure a level of protection for the security of the personal data we process that is appropriate to the risk involved. These include, in particular, access restrictions, authorization concepts, logging, data backup, and encryption where appropriate. Nevertheless, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
